Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens with a fragrant apple bouquet with hints of lemon and light oak hidden in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely acidic and bright. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple with notes of new oak and lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This very good Chardonnay would pair nicely with shrimp scampi. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Light golden yellow in color with a toasted nut aroma on the nose, leading into layers of vanilla bean custard and toasted sourdough bread. There is a touch of a mineral note, fresh pear and lemon peel. The palate is seamless with a gorgeous arc, hinting in the mid-palate at delicate lemon curd and green apple, with the slightest note of almond. The long finish ends with flavors of roasted almonds and toast.
