Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot opens with red raspberry and cherry like bouquet with a hint of old oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, fruit forward and easy to drink. The flavor profile is an old oak infused red plum with hints red raspberry and cinnamon. The finish is dry and it fades away nicely. This would pair well with a lime and fig chicken dinner. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep red color with purple hues. Aromas of ripe dark fruits of black cherry and black current. The nose is complex with spice, and a hint of high quality French oak. A concentrated, intense palate showing weighty dark fruits of ripe black cherry, black currant and aromatic red plum. The structure is elegant and full with fine powdered tannin, well-balanced acidity, and well integrated toasty oak notes. The finish is refined and persistent with an amazing length. Drinking beautifully from the outset, this wine can be enjoyed young or with careful cellaring, will mature into a fuller, more complex wine that can be enjoyed for the next five years. Well matched with barbecued lamb, strongly flavored fish or authentic Italian pasta with meat sauces.
