Wine Review: This midnight blue colored single vineyard Cabernet from Rodney Strong opens with a black plum bouquet with hints of black currant and toasty oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a mineral infused black currant with notes of mild plum and a touch of cedar. The finish is dry and its moderate refined tannins drift away nicely. The panel suggested pairing this Cab with a filet mignon or lamb chops. Enjoy - KWGTP
