Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red blend opens with a black currant and oak bouquet with hints of blackberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a mild oak and blueberry blend with notes of black cherry. I also detected hints of plum and oak in the background. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and fruit flavors drift away nicely. The wine is food friendly and would pair well with a wild boar ragu over ziti. Enjoy - Ken
