Wine Review: This pale straw colored Torrontes from Recuerdo is a pleasant wine and a good value. It opens with a pretty bouquet that displays hints of peach and apricot. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild lemon and gentle orange blend with nicely integrated minerality with a hint of oregano towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Torrontes is food friendly and would pair well with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy – Ken
