Wine Review: This bright yellow colored Chardonnay from the Ritchie Vineyard is excellent. It opens with a fragrant bouquet that you can smell all night. It is a blend of lemon and vanilla oak aromas with a hint of caramel apple. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and rich. The flavor profile is a yummy oak infused pear with notes of fig and minerality. I also detected hints of apple and lemon as well. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This Chard would pair well with chicken francese or chicken piccata. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Ritchie Chardonnay walks the fine line between richness & delicacy. It has a complex and harmonious mouthfeel that balances power and elegance. - David Ramey
