Wine Review: This very pale straw colored Chenin Blanc from Raats is a great value! It opens with an attractive fragrant floral and ripe pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty lemon-lime blend with beautifully integrated minerality. I also detected hints of Anjou pear and pineapple. The finish is pleasantly dry and clean. You could certainly quaff this wine. It will not last long. If there is some left for dinner, pair it with a linguine with white clam sauce dish. Enjoy - Ken
