Wine Review: This dark red colored blend from Portugal is a great value. It opens with a red cherry bouquet with hints of cranberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a vanilla-cola and gentle oak blend with hints of mild red cherry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins fade away nicely. This wine over delivers for the money and will serve as a perfect weekday red. I would pair it with a grilled mushroom and Swiss bacon-burger. Enjoy - Ken
