Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens with musty oak and buttered popcorn bouquet with a hint of apple. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and rich. The flavor profile is an oak infused pear with notes of honey, minerality and ginger. I also detected a hint of clementine. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a little while. This Chard is oaky and rich. If you like that style, you will like this wine. I would pair it with wild mushroom and chicken ravioli. Enjoy - Ken
