Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford opens with red cherry and coffee bouquet with a hint of new leather and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is red plum with notes of oak hints of cranberry, coffee and chalky limestone. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins drift away nicely. I would pair it with a NY Strip steak. Enjoy – Ken
