Wine Review: This pitch black colored Cabernet from Pina finished tied for second in our first big blind tasting. It opens with a plum bouquet with a hint of wet stone and eucalyptus. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, elegant and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant with nicely integrated minerality and smoky old oak. We also detected hints of plum and black cherry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. The panel suggested that this tasty Cab would pair well with Stuart's rosemary steak treats, prime rib, or sipping alone by the fireplace. Enjoy – KWGTP
