Wine Review: This opaque and dark purple colored Cabernet from Oakville opens with an inviting cassis and black cherry bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a very ripe red raspberry with notes of cranberry, spice and a touch of gentle oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are well controlled as the fruit continues to linger. This Cab will appeal to readers who also like Zins. I would pair it with a rack of ribs. Enjoy – Ken
