Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay is very very good. It opens with a light green apple and faint vanilla oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, soft and elegant. The flavor profile is a tasty lemon and green apple blend with notes of mild minerality. I also detected faint hints of old oak and white pepper. The finish is dry and very refreshing. I would pair this gem of a Chard with grilled swordfish. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Les Chaumees is a consistent, very elegant, mineral-driven wine due to the high limestone content of the soils in which it is grown. Flint and smoke on the nose segue to an impossibly structured palate that showcases bright citrus fruit flavors and rounded edges that taper off into a focused, lingering finish.
