Wine Review: This ruby colored wine opens with fragrant black raspberry and plum bouquet with hints of black pepper. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, and rather smooth especially after it has been open for a while. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with notes of plum and hints of black currant, acai, minerality and black pepper. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins are very prolonged and sticky. This wine is very food friendly and would be perfect with slow cooked beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Gigondas La Gille is bright ruby red with purple undertones. Aromas of cherries, thyme, blackberries. In the mouth, it is round and full-bodied with elegant tannins and great balance.
