Wine Review: This goldenrod colored dessert wine made from Riesling is a very good value. It opens with a fragrant orange marmalade like bouquet with a hint apricot. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rather sweet and bright. The flavor profile is a juicy orange and peach blend with notes of apricot and a hint of ginger. The finish is remains sweet and its flavors linger for a while after wine is gone. This wine would serve as a nice dessert on its own. You could also serve it with sharp cheddar cheese. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This wine is made in the style of an ice wine using ripe, frozen grapes. Pressing the frozen grapes produces a sweet juice, while leaving the frozen water crystals and grape skins behind. The resulting juice is very concentrated in aromas and flavors and demonstrates intense varietal character. Fermentation occurs slowly and is stopped before the wine is dry. APPEARANCE: brass yellow, golden AROMA: raspberry, strawberry, bubble gum, prunes, dried apricot, date FLAVOR: mandarin orange, blackberry, sour cherry, kiwi, strawberry, lychee MOUTHFEEL: sweet, viscous, sharp acid
