Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from Santa Barbara opens with mild apple and lemon like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to enjoy. The flavor profile, while not complex is pleasant. It is a blend of gentle oak, green apple and lemon. I also detected a hint of walnut and faint pineapple. The finish is dry and lingers nicely for a white wine. I would pair this nice Chard with chicken francese. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The majority of our Santa Barbara County Chardonnay comes from vineyards located in the cool Los Alamos and Santa Maria Valley regions. To preserve the natural freshness of the grapes we fermented and aged the wine in stainless steel tanks and neutral French oak barrels. Highlights include pineapple, citrus, apples (green and red) and a blast of tropical fruit. The palate is creamy, well-structured and long.
