Wine Review: This light straw colored Chardonnay is consistently Very Good. The 2014 Vintage continues that tradition. It opens with a mild Anjou pear bouquet with a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty mild green apple with notes of nicely integrated oak and Bosc pear. I also detected hints of lemon and butterscotch. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Chard is food friendly and would pair well with pasta carbonara. Enjoy – Ken
