Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Chile is a fun option for readers to consider. It opens with a fragrant red currant and plum like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, fresh and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe plum with notes of black pepper. I also detected a hint of black currant and a kiss of oak. The finish is dry and its flavors are pleasantly prolonged. This is a nice Pinot and it would pair well with a tangy pulled pork sandwich or a Cuban sandwich. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: With a deep intense red color, it contains notes of cherry, cranberries and spices, which are very characteristic of the variety. On the palate its tannins are soft and elegant, and its balanced acidity gives a juicy, long-lasting and persistent finish.
