Wine Review: We liked this very good entry level Italian red blend. It is ruby colored and opens with blueberry bouquet with a hint of black cherry and cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very easy to drink. One taster described it as not to strong and not to light. The flavor profile is a cedar plank infused plum with hints of black cherry and a touch of black licorice towards the back of the palate. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are subtle and food friendly. I would pair this very easy to red wine with spaghetti and meatballs or a grilled lamb chop. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Medium intensity cherry red with edges still youthful. Intense cherry aromas on the nose, very inviting and attractive combined with hints of violets. Instantly noticeable freshness on the palate, with good supporting acidity and excellent balance marked by soft and silky tannins. The biggest fruit component is cherries sweetened with touches of vanilla. Versatile enough to go with many dishes. Perfect with soups, pasta and risottos. Very good with both simple and more substantial dishes based on red meat, or with fresh cheeses. Recommended drinking temperature 64° F.
