Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Chateauneuf du Pape opens with a blueberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and rather dynamic. The flavor profile is an intense blueberry with hints of minerality, black cherry and oak. The finish is dry and its building tannins linger for quite a while. This offering could benefit from some more bottle aging and when opened it should be decanted and served with a well-marbled ribeye steak. Enjoy - Ken
