Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored wine opens with a very fragrant red currant and plum bouquet with a hint of cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very well balanced, fruit forward and smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty black currant with notes of dark chocolate, black cherry and oak. The finish is very dry and its very dusty tannins sail on for quite some time. This wine would pair well with duck breast. Enjoy - Ken
