Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Maggy Hawk opens with aa Dr. Pepper, pomegranate and cranberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral infused black raspberry with notes Dr. Pepper with hints oak and dark chocolate. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This Pinot would pair well with lamb chop. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2014 Stormin' is an intensely perfumed wine with a rich, deep, dark essence of mocha, black plum, and gingerbread. This opulent nose is mirrored on the supple palate with sumptuous flavors of caramel, black licorice, and cinnamon stick, infused with dark plum notes. This is a wine that will evolve and unveil new layers as it ages in the bottle, or as it opens up in your glass.
