Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chardonnay from South Africa opens with a fragrant tropical bouquet including pineapple, mango and pear. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle pineapple and pear blend with notes of mild oak and minerality. The finish is dry and it subtly fades away. This gentle Chard is food friendly and would pair well chicken, broccoli and penne with a light cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Tropical fruit and orange blossom aromas lead to flavors of white peach with a caramel, nutty undertone that lingers on the textured, luxurious finish. The natural fermentation provides a brilliant linear acidity and substantial core with just enough layered sweetness, resulting in a round, balanced palate.
