Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens with an apple and musty pear like bouquet with a hint of bees wax. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a tasty lemon-lime blend with hints of green apple and ginger. I also detected some toasted almond and minerality as well towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Chard is extremely food friendly. It would pair well with grilled grouper with a watermelon salsa. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Serve between 12 and 14C and air or carafe the wine before tasting. A blend of confit blackberry and fresh sea breeze notes: spicy floral, toasted almond, confit lemon and apple. Energetic and chalky in the mouth, this wine is pure and true.
