Wine Review: This dark violet Cab from Lail opens with a fragrant red currant and cranberry bouquet with hints of earth and smoke. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and soft. The flavor profile is a blackberry and oak blend with notes of rick dark chocolate, clove, and oak. The finish is quite dry and its dusty tannins are very lengthy. The panel thought this wine was young and needed some more time to come together. For now we would suggest decanting and serving with dark chocolate or duck confit. Enjoy - KWGTP
