Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley opens with a mild vanilla oak bouquet and hint of pear. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a heavily oak influenced pear and butterscotch blend with notes of minerality in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away. This style of Chard is for oak lovers. They will love its rich style. I would pair this with Tyler Florenceā€™s spaghetti alla carbonara. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Rich. Textured. Refined. Baking spice, yellow apple and nectarine fragrances. Citrusy acidity with mango, asian pear and custard flavors. Textured, well-balanced and rich with Russian River character.

Organic status: not organic
