Wine Review: This opaque purple colored Syrah from Krupp Brothers settled in nicely once it received some air over time. It opens with a mild blueberry and cherry bouquet with a hints of leather and Kimi shoe polish. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile displays minerality up front with notes of blackberry and black licorice. We also detected hints of oak, mulberry and black pepper. The finish is very dry and it tannins are dusty and linger for a while. The Panel suggested decanting this wine for at least an hour and then pair it with a hanger steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
