Wine Review: This light straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a very fragrant gooseberry bouquet with a hint of yellow grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and nicely acidic. The flavor profile is a tart and tangy grapefruit with notes of mild minerality and touch of tangerine. The finish is dry and it lingers for quite some time. This is a very nice summer wine for a hot day. I would serve it with sharp cheddar cheese and crackers. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Look: Lovely pale yellow. Smell: With the crack of the cap, unleash the unexpected as an array of delicious aromas leap from the glass. Tropical melon and pineapple, passion fruit, and lifted citrus tempt your senses. Taste: A mouthfilling wine packed with fruit sweetness balanced by mouth-watering acidity and a fresh, zesty, lingering finish. Eat: Perfect for all occasions, particularly delicious with fresh oysters, asparagus, lobster, or summer salads.
