Wine Review: This pitch black colored Shiraz from Barossa is very good! It opens with blueberry and faint smoky oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced and smooth as silk. The flavor profile is a mild boysenberry with nicely integrated minerality. I also detected hints of faint oak, black cherry and dark chocolate. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a good length of time. I would pair this tasty Shiraz with a pan-seared New York strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
