Wine Review: Readers will find that this Merlot is a heck of a wine for the money. It is ruby colored and opens with a fruit forward red currant bouquet with a hint of blueberry in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and very smooth. It also displays nice structure for a Merlot at this level. The flavor profile is a tasty mild blackberry with hints of boysenberry. The finish is quite dry and its sticky tannins linger for quite sometime. This is a very nice Merlot and would pair very well with a marbled ribeye. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Black plum, boysenberry, and cherry flavors dance amongst the violet, chocolate and cedar notes. This wine is smooth and the tannins are refined and round. In true Merlot character, this wine caresses the mouth and lingers beyond each sip. — Randy Ullom, Winemaster
