Wine Review: This pale straw colored Chardonnay from Joe Carr opens with opens with an appealing apple and light lemon bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty mild oak influenced apple with hints of minerality and lemon verbena. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This Chard is very food friendly and versatile. It would pair well with lots of foods. Particularly chicken francese. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Balanced with aromas of tropical fruits and citrus married with subtle oak notes. The palate is a harmony of fresh yellow and white stone fruits that linger, finishing with a fresh and clean acidity. Pair with shellfish appetizers set the stage for a pasta pairing that’s perfect for this elegant wine. Or combine both for an amazing seafood-infused pasta dish.
