Wine Review: This pale golden colored Pinot Grigio from South Australia opens with a tropical bouquet of pineapple, vanilla, peach and a hint of bubble gum. It is medium bodied, dry, rich and a bit creamy. The flavors are very layered, which is unusual for this grape. It starts out with a pleasant green apple, then some honeydew melon and then a little minerality. It has a smooth and medium finish. A Cobb salad would be great with it. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Color: Pale Straw Bouquet: The nose offers bright, pure aromas of fresh cut pear and red apple. Palate: A soft and approachable Pinot Grigio showcasing pear and custard flavors and a creamy texture. Serving Suggestion: Seafood chowder

Organic status: not organic
