Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Isabel Mondavi is pleasant and friendly. It opens with mild creme brulee and mild lemon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple with notes of Anjou pear and hints of honey and almond. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This Chardonnay would pair well with citrus trout almondine. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine displays a light golden hue in the glass with delicate aromas of pear, apple, vanilla, and honey. In the mouth, the wine is medium-bodied and nicely balanced, with acidity and a toasty mid-palate in harmony with fresh fruit flavors. The wine finishes gracefully and invites you back for more.
