Wine Review: I liked this Gewurztraminer from Gustave Lorentz. It is a nice reflection of the grape, in a style that I prefer. It is pale yellow colored and opens with a heavenly lychee bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and shows very nice balanced between its acidity and fruit. The flavor profile is a very tasty lychee with a touch of apricot and spice. The finish is dry and pleasant. I would suggest pairing this enjoyable Gewurztraminer with garlic roasted chicken. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2009 Gustave Lorentz Gewurztraminer Reserve has aromas of roses, tropical fruit and exotic spices. The palate mimics the aroma with a rich, full mouthfeel and a long, pleasant finish.
