Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with appealing aromas of cedar shavings, mint and dark chocolate. It is medium-bodied plus with flavors of black cherry and cola. It finishes strongly with a sea salt caramel wash. While the gratification was immediate, the flavors continued to develop in the glass after 15 minutes, if we could keep it in there that long. The tannins are resolved and the fruit is ever-present, making it very food friendly. I recommend pairing this tasty Zin with a lamb and beef Bolognese. - Jeoff
