Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Franc is from a whole new winery and region for me. This wine comes from the Hudson Valley is very good! It opens with a blueberry and gentle blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and black plum blend with notes of minerality and gentle oak. The finish is dry and its flavors and tannins linger and last for quite some time. This Cab Franc would pair nicely with a Bolognese ragu over farfalle pasta. This wine does not appear to be released yet, so call the winery a get on the list as they did not make much of it.
