Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from South Africa opens with a classic musty oak bouquet with hints of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and savory The flavor profile is a smoky oak infused blackberry with notes of plum and mild minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and linger of a while. I would pair this hearty styled Cab with a beef stew. Enjoy - Ken
