Wine Review: If you would like to conjure up memories of this past summer sipping wine at the pool or on your deck, this is a good wine to help bring back those memories! This pale straw colored Riesling opens with a bouquet of apricots, light pear, tangerine and hints of honey. The fizzy and lively palate includes light citrus, lime, honey and hints of black licorice. The wine is light bodied, easy going, smooth and balanced with an appealing dry green apple finish. I would pair this Australian Riesling with grilled scallops and start thinking summer! – Joe
Winemaker Notes: Not for the faint of heart, this zippy Riesling is floral and weighted, with notes of lime sorbet, rose petals and a hint of fennel. With its racy verve, subtle complexity and just a tinge of sweetness, it’s a perfect companion for both sweet and spicy dishes...or simply on its own. Refreshingly complex on the palate, it will make you wonder how you emptied your glass so quickly - and have you reaching for another.
