Wine Review: This deep and dark yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a pleasant mild pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, yet very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty green apple with hints of minerality and faint Bosc pear. I also detected a hint of lemon verbena, faint oak and ginger. The finish is dry and its fades away nicely. This elegant Chard from Burgundy is very food friendly and would pair well with many seafood dishes. I would pick shrimp scampi. Enjoy – Ken
