Wine Review: Now that summer is upon us, this very light straw colored and light bodied Semi-Dry Riesling from Fox Run will make a very nice complement to the season. It opens with a fresh bouquet of apricots, pears, minerality and hints of tropical fruits and honey. Its smooth and light syrupy palate includes flavors of pear, honey, green apple and light minerality. I enjoyed its nice extended semi-dry lime finish. This Riesling is food friendly and I feel it would be a delightful summer night sipping wine on the beach, deck, patio or backyard with an assorted light cheese platter. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: Peaches, mangoes, red raspberry and white flowers all present themselves on the nose, with more peach and tangerine on the palate. A tart lime presence in the finish rounds out this zesty Riesling.
