Wine Review: This opaque and dark red colored Pinot Noir from the Anderson Valley opens with a mild cherry bouquet with a hint of craisin. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a cherry-cola with notes of blueberry, minerality and old oak. I also detected a hint of red plum as well towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Pinot would pair well with a coq au vin. Enjoy - Ken

Your comments on this wine:

Are all wines meant to be aged? No. In fact, perhaps 90% of today's wines are vinified for consumption within 2 years of the vintage.
