Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark purple colored Syrah opens with a blueberry bouquet with a hint of clove. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, and quite savory. The flavor profile is a ripe blackberry with notes of black raspberry and blueberry. There is also just enough oak to blend the flavors together nicely. The finish is dry and its bold fruit flavors linger for a while after it is gone. I would suggest pairing this Syrah with grilled sausage with sautéed onions and peppers. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Syrah is a sensuous experience. Our Paso Syrah is a three-vineyard blend from the warm climate and calcareous soils of Paso Robles, the most opulent of all Syrah regions in California. The result is layers of rich, voluptuous fruit and spice, which trails into a long silky oak finish. Enjoy by candlelight.
