Wine Review: It is rare to find a Good $10 Cab. This offering from Fairview fits that role. It is opaque and very dark violet colored. It opens with a very smoky campfire and mild black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is is medium bodied, balanced, and easy going. The flavor profile is a smoky oak and slim jim blend with notes of plum and a hint of black currant. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are a little sticky and linger. This wine would pair well with grilled steak tips. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Intense dark berries, tobacco and cedar characterise this bright wine. Fresh fruit burst on the palate, well balanced with supple texture and smooth cassis on the finish.
