Wine Review: This yellow colored Pinot Blanc from Dutton Goldfield opens with fragrant and aromatic tropical bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, round, balanced, rich and juicy. The flavor profile is a honey-orange blend with notes of nicely integrated minerality. I also detected hints of Chamomile tea, ginger and touch of pineapple. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a while. You could certainly drink this Pinot Blanc on its own. With food, I would pair it with grilled sea scallops. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our Pinot Blanc, in particular, is the perfect wine to welcome the vintage and lead us into the spring we know is just ahead. The nose greets with peaches and grapefruit zest, framed by sweet and spicy lily of the valley floral notes. In the mouth, the wine is luxuriously creamy while still invigorating and lively, carrying its silky apricot pie flavors along to a lengthy, fresh finish. There may be no better wine than this for just enjoying on its own on a sunny afternoon, but it would also make a fantastic match for a white pizza with egg and arugula, sole, or slices of fontina cheese.
