Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored red blend opens with a blueberry bouquet with a hint of cherry-cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle plum with nicely integrated old oak. I also detected hints of black pepper and black cherry. The finish is rather dry and its dusty tannins are sticky and linger for quite a while. This wine would pair very well with foods like braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This blend of the five noble Bordeaux varietals is deep, rich and concentrated. Initial aromas of blackberry, plum and black pepper arise from the glass. On the palate, the wine has wonderful texture and length. Cassis and plum mingle with the toasty oak nuances and vanilla characters creating a harmonious blend. The finish is long and sophisticated with the tannin structure playing a pivotal role in the wine’s balance and finesse.
