Wine Review: This light yellow colored Spatlese from Dr. Pauly opens with fragrant green pear and candle wax like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, sweet and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a very ripe clementine with notes of peach and ripe apple. There is also a touch of molasses. The finish remains very sweet and lingers for quite a bit. This wine would pair well with sharp cheddar cheese platter. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The Spatlese from the Wehlener Sonnenuhr shows a concentration of ripe fruit such as ripe apricot, combined with ripe peach aromas. It is ideal with very spicy foods, such as Thai or even Indian style dishes.
