Wine Review: This bright straw colored Riesling from Dr. Loosen opens with a fragrant mild apricot and lemon iced tea bouquet with some floral hints mixed in as well. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and nicely balanced between its acidity and fruit. The Panel also detected the presence of a touch of effervescence as well. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused lemon with hints of lime, green tea and a twist of orange peel. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely extended. The Panel suggested pairing this Riesling with broiled scallops wrapped in bacon. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The famous "sundial" vineyard, in the village of Wehlen, produces the quintessential Mosel Riesling: delicate and refined, with a racy texture and endless charm. The early picked Kabinett is the lightest and most delicate style of German Riesling. Nothing can compare with its elegance and subtlety, as this wine proves with its fine fruitiness and exquisite balance.
