Wine Review: This clean and dry offering from the Loosen Brothers is very enjoyable. It is pale straw in color with pear, lemon and slate in its bouquet. It has bright balanced acidity, medium body and good structure. Citrus flavors with hints of pineapple and stone fruit have nicely integrated minerality and a moderate dry finish. I would pair this with a salmon burger with a squeeze of lemon. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: This crisp, refreshing Riesling is the dry counterpart to the fruity, off-dry Dr. L Riesling. Together, these two wines represent the entry-level from Loosen Bros. capturing the elegant and racy characteristics of steep, slate-soil Mosel vineyards at a very reasonable price.

Organic status: not organic
