Wine Review: This golden colored sparkler from Vouvray opens with a nose of apple custard with caramel and clove. On the palate, the medium bubbles interact nicely with the flavors of candied clementines, sugar cookies, ginger snaps, and ripe peaches. The finish has a nice bright acidic touch that cleans up the heavier notes giving this wine a medium-length finish that could have easily been a bit pungent. This Chenin Blanc based sparkler would pair well with orange chicken sprinkled with sesame seeds. – Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of citrus fruit and apple seduce the senses, leading to an elegant, effervescent palate with a mouthwatering freshness and a racy acidity.
