Wine Review: This slightly opaque and very dark ruby colored Cotes du Rhone is a steal. It opens with a black cherry, dark berry, and leather like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with hints of black cherry, oak and spice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and linger for quite some time. We would decant this wine and pair it with braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken
